What to Expect. My therapeutic approach is collaborative, thorough, active, and always flexibly tailored to meet the unique and often complex needs of the individuals whom I am honored to serve. Together, we will carefully and thoughtfully engage efficacious treatments that meet your needs against a backdrop of unwavering support and a neutral stance that honors and celebrates your autonomy. With respect to personal style, I am not one to seek to persuade or advise. Instead, I ask sensitively attuned, facilitative questions aimed to engage your curiosity, scaffold your process, transform your experience, and invite opportunity for both personal and interpersonal growth.
Treatment Foci. I encourage you to reach out with any need. I will always do my best to make sure that you are in good hands, whether we determine that we are a good fit for one another and continue on together, or we determine that there is a more nuanced referral that would more efficiently and appropriately account for your well-being. However, a non-exhaustive group of conditions that commonly present in my practice include trauma, anxiety, stress, depression, chronic illness, grief, and loss as well as desire to build clarity and then actively navigate issues pertaining to identity, career, education, relationships, and major life decisions.
Experience. My experience and training has been devoted to providing essential psychotherapeutic services to adults, adolescents, and children in private practice; in city, state, and private hospitals (inpatient and day treatment units, consultation liaison services, a child advocacy center, comprehensive detox and addiction treatment units, neuropsychological assessment services); and in Title I schools.
